Jennifer Klaus

Jennifer Klaus 15-16

Mrs. Klaus grew up in the Akron area then attended Ashland University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and the Ashland Eagle Award for Outstanding Senior in her field. Later she attended the University of Akron where she received a Master's Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences: Family and Child Development and certificate in Parent and Family Education. She then returned to Ashland University to complete the Principal Licensure program.

Her career in education began at Clear Fork High School where she taught Family and Consumer Sciences for six and a half years. For the next seven years she taught Family and Consumer Sciences at Ontario Middle School and earned the FCCLA Master Advisor certification and the FCCLA Spirit of Advising Award before returning to Clear Fork School District as the middle school principal. Mrs. Klaus, her husband, and two children live in Butler. In her spare time, she loves to ski, hike, bike, jog, cook, play in her garden, and spend time with her family.
